Headphone that blew my mind

I started working from home full time since March 2020. Within a week I realized if I want to do this full-time I need a good home office setup. Apart from usual stuff I wanted a good pair of headphone that can minimize distractions in the form of noise, chatter. I wanted a headphone also to take meetings with my colleagues.

I started searching for one but soon realized that there are way too many options available in the market and I will have to define what I want before looking for one.

I came up with my criteria:

• Wireless - for comfort of able to move around

• Good battery life - I don't want one more device to charge every day

• Voice clarity

• Easy to connect with my laptop

All these criteria led me to Audio-Technica headphones and specifically ATH-M50XBT.

I have been using this gem for past 3 months now and I am amazed with its performance in all departments.

• It gets connected seamlessly with my laptop immediately after switching on.

• Very soft on my ears

• Amazing clarity

• Single full charge lasts me about a month

• It also has a wired option when you are too lazy to charge this guy

Only drawback I felt was if I wear it for continuous long hours, I feel a bit of stress on ears. But I think that's true for all over the ears headphones.

Bottom line: I am pretty happy with ATH-M50XBT and had no hesitation recommending this if you are looking for a long term investment!
